Is there a way to view what template was used to create a knowledge article and then is there a way to change the template to a different one?
For example, we have an article that was created using the General Use template but there is a custom template called Troubleshooting that should have been used. is there a way to re-apply a template so the article switches to using the Troubleshooting template instead of the General Use?
To help find other instances where this happened is there a way to report on what templates are being used on each knowledge article?

Hi there!
Please refer below
Deactivating knowledge article templates
You cannot delete an article template because article templates have an associated child table. Deleting a template would also require deleting the child table. Due to the limitations on dropping tables, article templates and template columns are explicitly made non-deletable. Instead, you can disable the Knowledge Article Templates feature by clearing the Active check box on the Article Template form.

I don't want to delete a template, it is being used by other knowledge bases, i just don't want it available to my knowledge base, but because it was used by a few articles I cannot diss-associate it.
So my question is can I change a template that was used on a specific knowledge article? And further is there an easy way to identify what template was used when an article was created?
