Is there any way (in the base product) to change the layout of the homepage in any way? Currently, it lists all the topics (and not categories) for us and I was just wondering if it's possible to do anything different with that.
Thanks for your help!

My dev team was able to add a "Department" field to the article in editing view, then sorted my knowledge homepage by department rather than topic. This helped my service desk search browse articles based off of what department the caller worked in.

Hi Lawrence Elitzer,
You can update the UI Page by accessing System UI> UI Pages, and opening kb_home. However, I'd strongly suggest creating a custom UI Page, as there are updates coming in future releases of the Knowledge Base, namely Fuji, and you wouldn't be able to pick up those enhancements.
Let me know if you have any additional questions!
