I have to configure our CMDB Dashboards and so trying to do this through the CL Hierarchy.
However, when i click on CI Class Manager, i see the CI Hierarchy but it's not populating for me to select different CIs.
Can someone please tell me exactly what needs to be enabled and where to enable it so CI Hierarchy shows the complete list of CIs?
Please see attachment.

Hi,
Are you logged on with an admin user? If I remember correctly the module is visible for itil_admin but full functionality requires admin. The dropdown menu for the hierarchy selection should though be visible for you. So definately an issue here. Is this on all your instances (prod, dev)?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm only given admin rights to our lab environment to 'play' around with the cmdb dashboards...The confusing thing is when admin access was granted 3 weeks ago the hierarchy was populating. This Monday it stopped and no one has explained why. We are on Istanbul in the lab environment.
Regards,
Nana

Hi,
Is it possble that something has happened to your user rights? The UI looks like it's in read-only mode (field values are locked). Maybe check this issue first with your support.

Hi,
If you have admin rights, you can of course confirm this yourself on your Istanbul demo site. Open the users table (sys_user) and check what roles your user id has. If this information is not present / viewable on you user id record, your permissions have probably been altered.
