Hi anyone can explain with examples what are the CI Classes and CI Attributes? Its really appreciate and helpful.

Hi @vinodkumar2010,

 

To try and answer this as simply as possible, CI attributes are characteristics and information points of a CI. 

A CI class is also technically an attribute however with a distinctive difference - the Class is a group of CIs that share attributes and are stored in their own class table.

 

An example of each would be as follows:

CI Class: computer, router, or server.

CI Attribute: Asset tag, Serial number, location.
