Coalesce Field Not Working

Community, has anyone had an issue where even though a field is set to coalesce on transform duplicate values of that record are still being created? I'm currently migrating some asset management data and the asset tag is the field I'm coalescing on. I've created a smaller version of the file I'm trying to import that has 9 duplicate asset records and it's creating all 9 yet the asset tag is the same value, I've also validated that there is no random text being added to the import set row entries. I've recreated the transform map, the field transform, still the issue persists. Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a table attribute or property I need to check for?

try changing choice action to ignore. Also make sure there is no other transform map on that source table. Also share screenshot.
