Configuration item is showing empty on list layout but there is value behind when i do show matching please verify and suggest

Can it be that you are looking at it with a role that does show you all of the Network adapters, but without having access to the CI (class) that is referenced in the field? 

How does it show when you open the record?

hi mark, I am checking with admin role only, on form also it is blank but when i click on i preview icon, it says preview not available

Also, a network adapter will be associated with a server, computer or other device like that, do you use Discovery or any other automated import process to your CMDB?
