DKIM support for outbound emails

When sending emails from ServiceNow using the ServiceNow SMTP Server there is support for Sender Policy Framework (SPF). But how about DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM)? Is there any DKIM support - or can it be achieved without too much complexity?

As far as I know, ServiceNow's SMTP servers do not use DKIM. I don't know what the ramifications are of putting the header info in there. The thread I linked, if not mistaken, was attempting to use a third party (Google) SMTP server. If you wish to change the SMTP server configuration, I strongly recommend working with customer support.

No, I informed the organization the results of my investigation and since that they haven't pursued this issue. And I haven't heard any news or changes regarding this either.

With the DHS BOD 18-01 requirement it would be nice to have an update from Servicenow to comfirm if they have plans to offer DKIM as an option.

Those interested in DKIM support for custom domains can also express interest via voting in the Idea Portal.

Looks like "DKIM for custom domains" was posted as an idea there as well. Presumably this would be a feature suitable for customers using ServiceNow email infrastructure.

Hi @Lars-_ke Bolk, your thread is old - but I want to add here, that this is possible since late 2017: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB1002273
