Hi Team,
We have enable document viewer in our dev env so that the users can view the attachment, by default I can see that when you click on the document it downloads the file instead of viewing it. This seems to be an OOTB behavior. We can see a 'view' button besides the attachment which lets us view the file in the document viewer. Is it possible to change the behavior of downloading the file to viewing the file in document viewer when a user clicks on the attached file?
Johnny

Did you configure the table collection as mentioned in below link:
Document Viewer supports viewing various file types in the platform including UTF-8 character encoded PDF file. The maximum document file size is 50 MB.
- MS Word (.doc) and (.docx)
- MS PowerPoint (.ppt) and (pptx)
- MS Excel (.xls) and (.xlsx)
- PNG
- JPEG

@maroon_byte yes, it is all working fine, only thing is with the default behavior of downloading the file (when clicked on file name) instead of viewing the file , I want to know if that's possible.

Oh I get it now... next to the attachment you do see [view] link but you want the view behavior not when [view] us clicked but when the user clicks on the attached file.... sry, long weekend brain freeze.
I think its possible but not recommended by ServiceNow as per below link due to high security concern:
