Does anyone know how to tell whether a particular KB is V2 or V3? We are on the Jakarta Release

Does anyone know how to tell whether a particular KB is V2 or V3?   We want to activate the Knowledge Management Advanced plugin but we cannot because not all of our KB's are on V2.   We are on the Jakarta Release. Thank you for your help.

Navigate to Knowledge\Administration\Knowledge Bases and look at the Release Version (kb_version) attribute on those records.   You can personalize the list to see it there.

It is my understanding that specific articles are not v2 or v3 themselves, it's more that they belong to a Knowledge Base (a kb_knowledge_base record) that is v2, or v3. There is an attribute in the Knowledge Base record that indicates which version it is - the attribute is called "Release version".



You can query for KB articles that belong to a V2 knowledge base pretty easily. That will tell you which articles need to be migrated to a v3 knowledge base.
