Does creating Import Set table 'eat up' the Custom table license?

Hi,

I have a general question regarding Data Import. When Importing data, we are encouraged to create Import Set Table (either directly in the Load data process, or manually by extending the 'import set row' table).

However, since number of custom tables on ServiceNow instances is limited, do these tables count as custom tables, and reduce the number of available custom tables?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

no, the Import Set table is not considered as a Custom table for ServiceNow, it's a 'system' table, so not a real custom table that will increase the count for licensing.

If I have answered your question, please mark my response as correct and/or helpful.

Thank you very much

Hi @Alberto Consonn just out of curiousity (since it's been 5+ years now) is this true even today? i.e. staging tables do not increase the license count?
