Duplicated update name found in application files : list of table_sys_ids

Hi folks,

 

I am trying to upgrade the instance from Utah to Washington DC.

While creating the upgrade plan I am facing an error which looks like :

The 'Global Customizations - upgrade plan' upgrade item is not getting created due to this error.

 

How should this be rectified?

Spent a good amount of time trying to resolve this same issue this morning.  You need to open the Global Customizations - Upgrade Plan application and scroll down to application files.

 

Filter based off the update name.  You will see 2 versions.  Delete one of them and rerun. 

 

Once it refreshes the error should be gone.
