External Login Screen

I have enabled SSO - however i have two login methods available. I would like the external login to the default please. Can you walk me through this process? I do not want the local login being primary - as the external login uses our SSO service.

I have now worked through the problem.  I didn't need to see the service portal login page but use the Azure SSO prompt to automatically log me in.

To ensure this worked all i simply had to do was Set Redirect IDP.  This when browsing to my service portal took me through to the SSO screen and logged me in to my portal.

Hope this helps someone else, easy when you know how.

Thank you, Mike.

Hi, Can you please provide more details about "what you are referring "External Login", when we have SSO enable it will not prompt for login page as I am already logged in system.

I have SSO with Okta and when I am hitting the instance URL .. it's communicating with organization Okta and forwarding to Instance home page.

We have user_id configured with SSO script "SAML2" on Identity Provider-> Advance tab

Thank you for your time and response.  I am wondering if the box for Sign AuthnRequest needs to be enabled? I would like to skip the login screen as you have suggested above and just use the Azure Authenticator login.

Try setting the property glide.authenticate.sso.redirect.idp to the sys_id of the Identity Provider you defined.

Thank you James.  Unfortunately i don't have that property, but i have found glide.authenticate.external and it is set to false for the value.  What does that do?

Thank you, Mike.
