I'm surprised we don't have custom list views on the ServiceNow platform. We can create custom filters and easily switch between them. I need to be able to create custom list views that I can easily switch between and use in different contexts.
This custom list views need a name, a filter, columns to show/hide, sequence of columns, and column width.
I realize I can do some of this with reporting, but lists are where I live and work on the platform.

There's all kinds of ways to pull this off.
- Lists can have views (this is used mostly to manage different column presence use cases)
- Views can be swapped in two mouse clicks
- Filter conditions can be saved and named and distributed as user/group/everyone
- Individuals can save personalized conditions as bookmarks in two clicks... making them 1 click accessible.

This is close, but I think an administrator has to set up views. I have users who customize the columns for their list view all the time. It would make sense if they could also save those as a personal custom list view rather than relying on an administrator. And if you're saving special column views, it makes sense to also save the filter along with it.

Definitely don't need admin to safe a filter... especially if they're saving it as a bookmark.
The whole POINT of bookmarks/favorites is to save custom list views.

But filters are only half the battle. Custom columns (and column widths) are the other.
