User access to Flow Designer (servicenow.com)
According to the above link, (in the first paragraph) 'Administrators can grant users access to Flow Designer by assigning delegated development permissions or directly assigning a user role'.
[user_assigned_roles.png] | In accordance, I assigned a user with no other role than the default the flow_designer role. With this, I checked that flow_operator is provided as well.
[missing_flow_designer_in_menu.png] | Then I selected the same user with [impersonate user] role. I am still unable to see 'flow' after I logged out/in before taking the same step.
I seem to be missing something - may I be informed?

Hi,
Did you try if you could access Flow designer directly when impersonating that user?
Try opening it, and see if that works, https://yourInstanceName.service-now.com/$flow-designer.do
When I try adding the role flow_designer to a user (with no other roles), it shows the Flow designer module in the app navigator, can you double check if you have changed which roles are required to view that module?

Yes I can access https://company_instance.service-now.com/$flow-designer.do
But it does not show that I am under the specific account I had assigned the flow_designer role.
It just worries me a bit - that in the aftermath - despite the limited view from the mentioned account, the cost will be incurred from the company nonetheless. Based on the following statement -> 'Directly granting a user the flow_designer role is equivalent to giving the user the admin role'

Well, since you can access almost any table, and perform lookup on any record, giving access to Flow designer IS powerful, and not to be taken lightly.

Thank you for your response. I agree it is not a light matter to assign a role that is equivalent to that of admin. As a result, I am currently testing the case on the dev account. I somehow expected the backend system to have synced over the holidays here.. but it has yet to happen. I look forward to hearing other ideas to test this feat if you have any. Thanks again.
