The term Grandfathered tables is used when you renew your contract and convert from one license model to another license model for custom applications. In the current license model, tables must be either bundled with a subscribed application, grandfathered from an earlier type subscription, excluded or subscribed as part of the App Engine license model. I strongly encourage you to work with your account team to align tables with the correct type as part of your renewal as necessary.
