I'm doing a project for my Service Now bootcamp where we have to make a scoped application. My application is a Movie and Game Purchase Monitor that checks the rating of the product against the age of the buyer to determine whether to permit the purchase or not.
However, I've run into a problem when it comes to my media lists. Part of the project was adding custom lists via Studio, and I've created my movie and game lists and uploaded the data from my excel spreadsheets. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to now take those custom lists and mass convert them into service catalog items, or at least upload my excel spreadsheets to be automatically converted into catalog items and link those to my existing lists. My app hinges on users being able to purchase my list items, so this is extremely important. Ideally, if there is a solution that doesn't require a lot of complicated scripting would be the best (I'm still a novice, and what I'm already trying to absorb in such a short amount of time is hard to retain as it is).
Am I missing something, or is what I'm trying to do totally impossible and I'll have to start all over from scratch? I have a very short time to develop this app, and this problem is making me extremely anxious.
