How do we edit/override the default robots.txt file for connecting to a main search engine?

We'd like to enable searching from the Knowledge Base from our main webpage for our organization yet are unable to connect to the service-now sight.   Anyone have this issue and found a work around?   I'd appreciate any help or guidance.

In order to have access to a ServiceNow page publicly you need to make the page public:

Otherwise any page you want to see requires authentication.
