We have a requirement to automatically populate a field on the catalog item, based upon which Product (topic) was selected in the portal. The catalog item is generic and is present in multiple Topics in the portal. We need access to the name of the topic selected in order to derive the category on the catalog item. Once I have the topic, I'll be able to query what I need, but not sure how to go about it:
For example, above, "Oracle Cloud Integrations" is the name of the Product, this is the value I need to get. I've seen solutions which can grab the topic from the Catalog Item table. But the issue I have is that this catalog item is used by many topics.
Also, when I open a catalog item, there are no breadcrumbs. I was going to use this to get the value. Is there any way of sending this as a URL parameter to the Catalog Item? Or any other way?
