How to add an existing custom table to an update set?

I want to add an existing custom table to update set. However when I go to the table view and click "add to current update set" or "force to update set", it won't add one record in the update set, there's no columns or other table related info are captured.

Hi @Lisa71

thanks for the screenshot. That was helpful.

You do not seem to use the most used extension "Add to UpdateSet". That extension is able to recognize what you want to add to an update set and independently adds further artifacts that are required for the overall picture. If you were to use this extension with a table, several dozen additional artifacts would be added automatically, with the aim of capturing everything relevant to a table.

Hi @Lisa71

have you made sure that your Update Set is really the current update (click on the globe icon to validate).

Please share a screenshot of the dialog (the complete screen!) where you wanted to click on "Add to current update set".

Thanks
Maik

I opened the table in default view, the in the context menu, click "add to current update set". In the update set, I do see one record is added as below. But there's no detailed dictionary data, can't be imported to other instance to re-create the table.
