How to add an HTML slider to a service catalog item

Just trying to add an HTML slider to a service catalog item for users to select a number within a given range.

I thought perhaps that I could use an HTML variable to do this, but I'm thinking that I'm wrong.

Has anyone successfully done this?

Hello ,

If you use a variable of type UI PAGE you will have more flexibility to do what you want, like including jquery plugin of range slider.

I have used this type of variables to create custom buttons and html components.

I'll take a look. I've never used that one.

Well, that escalated quickly......

UI page

Inserts a UI page into the catalog item.

Attention: Use phase one Jelly only for any UI macros added as variables. Phase two Jelly within the macro is not processed and appears on the page as standard content.

The UI page variable is not yet supported on service portal and mobile devices.
