How to add sent notification details into comments in the incident form

Hi, I want to know how to add the sent notification details to the comments section of the incident form. I think there may be a OOB feature is already there in SN, but in my PDI it wont works.

set glide.email.smtp.active to display all journal entries in activity stream.

However, I don't think email sending works in PDI instance. It's not allowed from PDI.
