How to edit the form layout on Catalog items?

Hello! For the Service Request form above (and others like it), how do I go about editing the form layout? On most forms, I have the option to choose either Form Designer or Form Layout, but not here. Note that the Requested By, Requested For, Due Date, and Short Description fields are part of a single Variable Set and that the HMS Contract field is a separate, single variable. The Attachment option is also its own Variable Set.

What we want to do is place the Short Description field on its own row above the long description field and also adjust the margins of the fields so that they are all equally spaced from the left side of the form.

Select container start as a variable type and give that variable the least order number and in that choose layout two alternating sides.

Put requested for , requested by in a variable set and give them order lesser than container start variable .

So, I've got one more dilemma for you guys. How do I edit items that are in a Variables Tab? For instance, the fields in the image below need to sync with the fields in our AR Recovery Request Form (the form we were just discussing above). Where do I go to change the layout and add/remove fields in this tabs?

Hi Riley,

Whatever the layout that you have in the Catalog item level, that same layout will be followed by Req Item and Catalog Task. System will take care of that.

You're right! I submitted a new test AR Recoveries Request and the Variables Tab form updated. Just one more question then. How do I make the Short Description and HMS Contract fields read-only like the rest of the fields in the Variables Tab?
