How to implement Client/Server script in survey?

Hi I have a requirement to auto/pre populate some fields/answers on a survey, how can i achieve this?

We are also interested in pre-populating some survey question answers based on a user's previous answer (would also want us to support uploading external answers to ServiceNow to use to pre-populate the answers). AKA an annual re-verification survey.

Looking for the same. Or more accurately, looking for the ability to show/hide, set mandatory/not mandatory, auto-populate survey questions based on the answers to previous questions regardless of their category. Currently, all you can do using the dependency function is show/hide within the same category.
