Chancal,
Its a combination of Suggested Relationship and User Preference. By defining in Suggested Relationship, you can get the default classes for that Relationship Type. Check this for Suggested Relationships - ServiceNow Wiki
You need to set the User preference 'ci_manage_filter_hint.cmdb.ci' with the filter you need. You can access it by https://<<instance_name>>.service-now.com/sys_user_preference_list.do?sysparm_query=nameLIKEci_manage_relationships_filter_hint. Change the Instance name to your instance name.
After changing the User Preference, logout and logback in to see the change in filter.

Thanks Mani,
It would be great, if you can share an example. I have referred below links related to this topic, but was not helpful.

Hi Mani,
I tried with your approach, it works globally for all CI Relation Types. I want to add default filter only for one CI Relation Type.
Say only for "Consumed by::Consumes".
Can we do it???
Thanks
Chanchal

Thanks
