How to set specific Article Template as default for a Knowledge base

Hi.  I have 2 different Knowledge Bases and I have created a specific template for each.  How do I associate the template to the KB so it is the default one that is used for that KB.  

For example:

  • HR Knowledge Base should use the HR Template
  • IT Knowledge Base should use the IT Template

Scenario #1 would be:

  • HR Author goes to Knowledge -> Article Create New
  • In the Select Article Template window only the HR Template is available
  • Likewise for an IT Author

Scenario #2 would be:

  • Person with Author access to both HR and IT goes to Knowledge -> Article Create New
  • In the Select Article Template window both the HR & IT Templates are available

I am using London.  Thanks for any guidance you can offer.
