@PandiriJ ServiceNow enforces password policies only during password change or reset events. So, once you configure or update a password policy, it will automatically apply the next time a user changes or resets their password.
No additional configuration is needed to delay enforcement — this is the default behavior.

that's when it will be impacted.
Example: If Abel forgets the password and before he requests for password reset if admin updated the password policy then Abel will have to follow the new policy to set password as part of password reset
