HRSD - Activity field mapping - HR Case only?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a Parental Leave of Absence journey on the sn_hr_core_case_total_rewards table.
In the lifecycle event, one of the activity sets triggers another HR Service, which also creates a record on the Total Rewards table.
When I try to configure Activity Field Mapping, I only get the option to map fields to the HR Case table (sn_hr_core_case). Unfortunately, this table doesn’t include the first_day_of_leave field, which is available on the Total Rewards table.
As shown in the screenshot, the mapping is locked to the HR Case table, and I can’t map directly to the fields on the Total Rewards record.
A possible workaround would be to create a duplicate field on the HR Case table and map it there — but I’d really prefer to solve this OOTB without custom fields if possible.
Has anyone else run into this limitation, and do you know of a better approach?

Hello @SimenKnudsen ,
I recommend selecting the appropriate Activity Set Type based on your requirement.
- If you choose Fulfillment, the system will automatically create an HR Task.
- If you select HR Service, it will prompt you to choose a related HR service.
In my opinion, you can proceed with the Fulfillment type and configure the following mapping:
- Mapped Table: HR Task
- Mapped Field: Start Date (i.e., the first day of leave)
