Hi Community,
Has anyone tried to compress images before attaching them to an Incident?
I have a scenario where users can attach images to an Incident. Each Incident is capped to a maximum of 10MB attachments, however, each attachment( since its an image most likely clicked by a new age mobile phone) is <=5Mb which leaves users with a maximum of 2-3 images that can be attached.
I want to be able to compress these images via plugin or code before attaching them to an Incident.
Any insights would be helpful.

Hi Priyanka,
browser level compression is not good idea
may be what you can try is using some 3rd party API for image compression and then attach it again; but not sure on this part
if max attachment size is 10MB in system property; single attachment file cannot exceed 10MB but user can add more than 1 attachment of size 9MB, 8MB etc
Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also mark Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks
