impersonator role being granted in Utah

Hi all,

after recently upgrading to Utah, we noticed that around 50 users suddenly had the impersonator role in our production environment, which is NOT what we want.

After some investigation, we found that the role virtual_agent_admin as of Utah contains the role atf_test_designer.

atf_test_designer, in turn, contains the impersonator role.

• Has anybody else noticed this, and understands why?
• I've looked through the ServiceNow upgrade notes etc, and can't find any mention of this. Am I looking in the wrong place? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can you share you upgraded to UTAH from which version, I see impersonate role present within atf_test_designer role even in TOKYO.

I found one SN doc related to roles:
