Integration with ADP - Automatic Data Processing, Inc.

We are looking at Service-Now as a ITSM tool. Does anyone currently have Service-Now integrated with ADP (Automatic Data Processing, Inc.)? What was your experience? Pros/cons?

Allen,

I can help you in how to parse json data coming from ADP. What i extracted and stored in SN is Personal Information includes SSN, email, phone. Job information includes job code,title, Reporting manager etc. You can share list of fields you are interested in.

Thanks for helping. We just got off a conference call with them so we are in the very beginning stages of it all. Nothing developed on ADP's end yet (for us - form, etc.) So I don't know the name of any of the fields that'll live on ADP, but I just wanted to get maybe a basic run down of how it would work. Could you share a bit about that? Like say the fields were: First name, Last name and SSN. How would we go about tapping in to that on ADP to then associate that to fields on a custom form I made in SN.

As the other user had mentioned some time ago, that there's like an ADP API Key? That I'd need? And then what after that? How would I tap in to the REST API to pull information to SN?

Masarrat, we are currently trying to integrate SN with ADP and are having trouble Authenticating and getting a token back from ADP in SN, We can obtain a token with no issue using Postman. Any advice?

Hi Rocky,

Did you install proper certificates in ServiceNow? You must got pfx or pem file from ADP, which is required to configure certificates.
