The Service-now.com Content Management System (CMS) is designed to provide a b2c interface between the IT department and the user community. Rich in functionality, the CMS uses a familiar interface while integrating with the existing Sevice-now.com implementation. Robust style and customization options allow easy corporate branding and standards-based building blocks designed for use by non-programmers. This session will provide an overview of the CMS and focus on the Pioneer Natural Resources and Queensland Transport deployments.

Will there be an intermediate version published? Need some more details on how to really customize the instance. How do I generate specific searches and customize the looks. For example I want to have a search that just searches the Service catalog and will display results that don't include the knowledge base results.

Customizing search results is a common example that I will add to the "results page overview" I am now writing. No versions based on living document (wiki) authoring, so when I complete a page it gets published. I could use your help, and here is how. If you can summarize the specific areas within content management that you need more clearly explained, list them as a post. I will get to them, so just be patient and I will have the documentation there for you and your team. Try to be as specific as possible, I am currently finishing the Getting Started page will rewrite layouts, pages, blocks to follow the lab I presented last year at Knowledge 10. My goal is to be as granular as possible, and get this completed by the end of the month.
Thanks for the help Jeff!

I want to create a search page that will only search the Service Catalog. Addtionally I want to control the look and feel of the results. I have started by using the Austere demo. If you go to that demo and just type HIRE in the search you will see that you get results from the KBMS and from the Service Catalog. I would only like the Service Catalog results. Addtionally the KBMS results are in Yellow and the Service catalog are in Blue. I want to change that as well as the font.

If you go to the Austere demo and select the Blackberry request from the the Top 5, you get the Service Request. On the top of the request is that green back button. How do I get rid of that button? Or where do I edit the default page for that back button?

That particular back button is located on the catalog_item UI Macro.
You want to be careful when editing UI pages and macros, though, because once you update them you won't receive any future updates to them.
