Is there a way to add Vendor Contact information in Vendor Management

We want to be able to add the primary Vendor contact information but I don't see any OOB fields to populate external names or email address for a Vendor

Please check, the Companies [ core_company] has option to declare primary vendor along with parent vendor.

This Company table being used in Vendor and Contract mgmt.

I'm wanting to add external contact information.
I see a field available (Primary External Contact) but this is reference to User table.
That field you show "Primary" seems to be set to False, but when I try to change it to True, it does not save.

You can created some custom field for external contact.

For Primary True/False >> Check there is a business rule "validate_only_one_primary", it may causing this update based on applied logic.

I have been looking for a solution for a good 2 years for the exact same request and the only answer and working solution is either by customizing the tables, adding an extended table or buying the Vendor Risk Management module to add the contacts table and keep the system OOB. 

It doesn't make sense as an admin to have the contacts table linked to VRM but marketing wise... 😉
