Licenses consumption usage report - what are the tables / data sources?

I need to produce a dashboards to track licenses usage. Subscription Management is OK but not enough. Is there a documentation about what tables or data sources to base my visualizations on? We use all sort of products, like ITOM, CSM, HR, etc. Not all based on a simple user count.

When you say Subscription management isn't sufficient, what is it missing that you'd like to report on. 

There are different approaches to get the finer grain details depending on the product. This is because products are metered differently so the calculation will vary. 

For example, ITOM has it's own tables where you can drill down to view SU consumption and even the exact CI records that are consuming subscription unit(s)

Hello Kieran, I'm looking for a way to detect the users who are NOT using their subscription or at least, have not used it in a long time, like 6 months.

Hi @Jean Lalande,

I've achieved identification of unused subscriptions by creating a script which queries the sys_journal for our period of inactivity and checks if they've completed any activity that counts as using their licence (for ITSM ITIL could be assigning a ticket, adding a work note etc.). This has worked well for us and allowed us to create an automated reclamation process.
