Major Incident Proposed

Hello ServiceNow Community!

 

I'm trying to figure out how the column "Major incident state" from incident table becomes "Proposed"? Is it from Business Rule? and what are the conditions?

I think it is because of the UI action and script include behind that.Adding screenshots of both.

Based on my observation, the column "Major incident state" becomes "Proposed" if the priority field changes to Critical or High. This is without using the UI action you have mentioned. That is why I am trying to understand which triggers this update.

I am not sure that this feature is there in PDI or in OOB BRs. 

 

The column "Major incident state" becomes "Proposed" if the priority field changes to Critical or High: - This may be because of some BR.
