Greetings,
I have a question with regards to the Managed Documents plugin in Kingston. I've done some digging and haven't been able to locate a definitive answer. When reading through docs, it seems as though this plugin does not require an extra license to activate. However, it is not definitive. I am wondering if anyone out there has any insight as to whether or not this requires extra licensing.
I do have a question out to our rep, but thought I would explore the friendly world of community 🙂
Thanks for your help

Hey there,
Yes, good news. I did get an answer for this.
I reached out to our rep and he confirmed there is no extra licensing for using Managed Documents.
We have since started to use it for a number of docs and are liking it.
Hope this helps

Hi,
Apologies for the delayed response. 🙂
I currently have the Application Menus set up to utilize the role "document_management_admin" or "document_management_user"
I then assigned either one or both of those roles to the user groups that I wanted to have access to the documents. In our case we only wanted specific groups to have access.
So to answer your question, I hope, If you assign the role to whichever group you want, they should have access to the menu and contents.
Hope that helps. If not drop me a message and I will do what I can to assist
