Mandatory variables that were selected are not shown on the RITM. The variable fields are visible but they are empty

We just upgraded to London and the 'mandatory' variables that were selected are not shown on the RITM. The variable fields are visible but they are empty.

Request that were submitted prior to the upgrade are not affected. We can see the populated variables on those RITM.

Thanks everyone for your inputs.... Scott... its is happening to both mandatory and none mandatory variables. I also notice that if the variable is a 'Label' then you will see that variable in the variable editor.

With help from HI support we found that the issue was attributed to the SP and SC Catalog Item widget which we had customized. The widget was not passing the variables. Installed the OOTB SC catalog Item widget and the variables are now being passed to the RITM.
