MFA on dev instance

Hi, has anyone come across this issue and knows what the cause is or how to resolve it? Tried using Google & MS Authenticator on iPhone. Tried changing time zone settings on instance an mobile pone - no joy. Thanks..

1) Time in mobile should be automatic

2) User account in user table might get locked out or active as false

3) If neither of the above steps work then reset mfa or delete the mfa record for that user in servicenow table so that it will ask for mfa setup again.

I'm not sure how, but I can only put this down to my dev instance being reclaimed and then I had to restore it. After it had been restored, it hand a different instance name.

I replicated my work on a non-restored instance and it worked fine.
