Hi,
i'm facing this weird issue with my pre-prod mid-server
i'm struggling to identify what is going on tbh. My record producers are working fine, but as you can see mid-server dashboard look like the mid-server is not validated (and i think it's impossible if record producers are working)
any advice?

Record producers are independant of Mid Servers. Do you have some integration using Mid Servers for fulfilling requests?

Hi Marco,
The Record producer is not dependent on the MID servers unless you have configured any integrations.
Is the instance upgraded recently?
What was the last change you made to the instance or the MID server?
Generally, this happens when an instance upgrade took place or the OS patch installs on the MID server and gets restarted.
Most of the time the KB0727757 which Jaspal already shared helps to solve the issue.
- Go to Services
- Look for the ServiceNow MID Server service
- Right-click and select Properties
- Click on the Log On tab
- Click on the Local System account radio button
- Click Apply and OK
- Restart the MID Server service
- Back in the instance
- From the MID Server page click on Validate
- Once the MID Server is validated go back to the MID Server Host system
- Follow steps 1-4 again
- Click on This account radio button
- Configure the dedicated user

Hi Raj,
i'm checking. I just become sys admin of this instance with little to no KT whatsoever so i'm trying to figure out things by myself.
I will contact client mid-server team and check user grant as suggested.
