Move Dashboard from test to prod

Hi All,

i tried the steps from Trying to move a PA Dashboard from dev to test via update set. How does the "pa dashboard" itself ge...

i didn't find anything under sys_grid_canvas.list   so i just skipped step 7.7.   and committed update set to prod. I can find the dashboard now but some of the tabs giving error as below. need help with this, what is missing here?

  1. Create new blank/clean update set
  2. Go to Dashboard in question > Edit > Click gear > Choose Duplicate
  3. Change the Dashboard name to remove "Copy of" and give it a UNIQUE name (not same as pre-existing one)
  4. Confirm updates added to your update set
  5. 5.             Navigate to Homepage Admin > Pages and perform Unload Portal Page for each of the appropriate pages
  6. 6.             Confirm appropriate number of updates added to update set
  7. 7.             Navigate to sys_grid_canvas.list and perform Unload Canvas Page for each of the appropriate pages
  8. 8.             Confirm appropriate number of updates added to update set
  9. 9.             Complete update set
  10. 10.     Commit to next environment
  11. 11.     Check your dashboard!

Move a dashboard tab with an update set



and then make sure all the related lists also moved if they are not moved with the update set.
