Not able to apply styles for Container component in UI builder

I found a weird behavior, For a "Container" component I'm not able to apply the styles. 

In the video I shared,  I tried to apply some background to the container. but once  I click on the save the style is disappearing.  Currently I'm using Utah release UI builder. I checked with Sandiego version, this issue is not there. 

One more finding :
After clicking save the style is disappearing from the preview section. but its applied  if I open the page in the actual URL. and also if i update the style of any other component the container components styles are removed even from the backend.

This still seems to be the case when adding new containers.

A ticket with SN Support yielded no answer, but the issue is reproducible over and over.

My only workaround to this, was to duplicate the container immediately above (depending on where you want to place it), then adjust table references. Doing it this way maintained the box styling.

Granted this may not be quite the same scenario as this, but for me this was within the Customer Central customer information tab. Creating new or simply moving a container into a new location broke the styling. I can only guess this is the same issue elsewhere.

This still occurs up to at least Xanadu.
