Now Platform future deprecation and roadmap

We are moving to a much faster upgrade cadence at my company.

I cant find any information about the platform "roadmap" as that's an entirely polluted search term.
The only information I can find on deprecating or removal of features is in the release notes.. Which is
far too late to be useful.

Other vendors give us this information 6 months ahead of time.

Is this really not available from service now or have I just failed to find it?

Hi there,

No such is not available.

You might find some fragmented information, in Office Hours / Academies, from people posting on the NOWCommunity, etc.. Though one single document or site for the whole platform which mentions such for the next year or upgrade: no, not available.

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.

Kind regards,
Mark

Hey @asdf12  (fun name ðŸ˜‚) and @Mark Roethof - Deprecations are typically announced a minimum of 18 months in advance via direct communication to any customers who would be impacted.

For a comprehensive list of all planned deprecations, there is a docs page (here) that outlines all current and future planned deprecations. Some of those planned for 2029/2030 are even showing already, tho that list is sure to grow as time marches forward ðŸ¤—

Best,

Travis
