Is there a way to create a knowledge article and have it publish at a later date?

Yes it is possible, workflow should be in draft state and don't mention Valid date for the article and you can publish it later.
I hope this will helps you.

Hi Vince
Yes you can just create a knowledge article and save as draft. Later on when you want you can publish that. This also depends on the process that your organisation are following. Are they allowing to keep the knowledge in draft state? Is there any approval process to publish the article.. etc..

Sorry, what I meant to ask was if there was a way to get the article to auto-publish on a specific date.

Vince,
Publishing KB's requires an action on the approvers part.
Unless you have it set to auto approve when anyone requests approval for publishing any KB.
If that's accurate, you could modify the valid from date to a future date and then write a business rule to request approval at that time (assuming you automatically approve KB's for publishing).
Does that help?
