Redirect to ADFS login page after session timeout

Hello all,

Where can I find the settings/properties that takes the user to the external login page (ADFS) when their session times out.

Currently, when the user session expires, due to no activity, they still stay on the same page. There is no indication to users that their session has expired.

On my PDI, I can see that when the session expires, the system opens a local login pop up page. I want to have a similar experience with the only difference that the users must be redirected to external login.

Hi,

In your Multi-Provider SSO > Identity Providers > record for ADFS...there's a field called "external logout redirect". You can try to set whatever page you want them to go to there and see if that works. By default, it normally takes them to a logout successful page and abandons them there. If you want to retrigger the ADFS to authenticate again, then you can set that field to the same URL you have the for ServiceNow Homepage on the same form. That way, it just loops them back through again.
