Response is not sending when Worknotes added and same is working when record inserted

The response is sent when the record is inserted & Response is not sent when Work notes added
Insert status 202 : URL ends with /triggers/manual/paths/invoke
work notes status 400
Please anybody have the solution for this work notes not sent in response.please help
