Retrieving list of Operational Status via REST API

Is there a way of retrieving list of Operational Status (the labels like Operational, DR Standby etc) via REST API?

I originally thought you should be able to use the Table API to get the values from the sys_choice table wheere table=cmdb_ci and  element=operational_status, but that doesn't appear to be an option.  Check out this post:
