Reverting sp_portal to a previous version

I installed the service portal plugin (com.glide.service-portal.esm) on our non-production yesterday.

I was branding and designing the 'service portal' page, and subsequentaly deleted the containers, rows, and widgets.

As this is on non-production I would like to revert the sp_portal to the OOTB setting, rather than amend the existing page.

I have searched your knowledge base, and I *think* that you can only revert to the last known file, and I was cannot rollback to a previous version (i.e. from yesterday). Is that correct?

If so, can I uninstall the plug-in and re-install and have a fresh install of the service portal plugin with a fresh copy of the sp_portal default page?

The reason I want to revert is because I am unable to drag containers and widgets from the layouts section on the left hand side...

Hi Jemal,

Could you confirm if you are on appropriate page & portal. As I tried the same by adding containers & widgets from layout section & it worked well.

Also, if you have it in some other instance where it is correct you can just export it & get it imported in this instance.

Many thanks for the swift reply, Jaspal.

Yes, I am on the appropriate page and portal (the default sp_portal). I was able to add containers, widgets etc, but I have obviously made some errors (it is the first time I have played around with Service Portal).

I think the quickest resolution is to revert sp_portal from a previous version, or to re-install the service portal plugin (on the assumption that sp_portal defaults to OOTB settings).

Any further ideas?

Plugins once activated/installed cannot be de-activated or uninstalled. All I would suggest is to have the plugins activated in your Personal demo instance then compare the page as required & then set it up.

Understood.

Can I revert to a previous version? For example, I have made multiple changes to the sp_portal over the last 24 hours. Can I revert to a previous state?
