How does a user with the itil role create a personal filter from an existing filter? Put another way, if a user filters a list of records, how does that user create a personal filter from that query? The documentation that I have found indicates to select the 'Edit personal filters" option from the hamburger options but then the user must then start fresh and recreate the filter. Is there no way for a non-Admin user to create a personal filter from an existing filter?
Apologies for a beginner question.

I just did a test on an out of the box list which had a filter on the incident table. I modified the filter and clicked Save Filter and could save it to my own name. Was Opened & Unassigned. Now Opened & Unassigned & Hardware. I that what you wanted?

I dont think it's possible to copy the filter and create as you personal filter/query unless you recreate the filter.
Best way is to drag and drop the filter to the favourites tab in application navigator.
Add a list as a favorite by dragging and dropping |
