I'm working in creating a catalog task. Inside of my workflow, I would like to add an email notification to the user if they are not able to fulfill the request. I'm not sure how to implement this.
I used a notification inside of my task but It doesn't work. Is there a way I can test that the requested_for has received an email.

Hi Claudia,
Dont pass any parameter to the event in the workflow. Also in the User/Groups Field in notification, select Request->Requested For field.

What do you mean do not pass any parameters? There is not requested for field option.

Can you check the Events->Event log, if you find the event name there.
Also can you post a screen shot of your notification? is it static or you have used some variables.
