Service catalog wizard, to use or not to use

Hi,

In my research to build a service catalog for my company, I came across wizards and using them to build an order guide.

The Ootb order guide in the catalog is not sufficient in terms of how steps it has before checkout.

It was noted on the wiki page for Wizards, that for any type of goods or services ordering it is recommended we use service catalog and not creating a wizard.

Can anyone explain to me exactly why it is not recommended?

My management does not even want vertical scrolling. But I may have fixed that with heavy use of containers.

Would you and Brad be able to answer another question I have. I have it posted at this link, but no answers on it yet.

We talked with Servicenow, decided not go with the Wizard.
