Hi All,
We are planning to integrate SCCM with Service now using plug in "Microsoft SCCM 2012 v2 (4.1.0)".
There is a provision to setup 'Run as' user in scheduled data import - "SCCM System 2012 v2 Import".
Kindly let me know which Roles we need to provide to create the integration user.
Thank you !!
Regards,
Manish Nagar

No roles are required for this user and it can be an simple account used only with a user name such as sccm.user
The idea here is you can see in your CMDB which user is updating a record or creating it.

Hi Jacob,
I need to know the user " sccm.user " without any role will able to create or update the record in cmdb table or we required table role for that user.
I am confused with the statement " No roles are required " does it means sccm related no roles required or it's means not even a single role required. Its kind of empty user without any roles.
It would be great if you answer my queries.
Thanks

The sccm.user account will be able to create/update any CI record since it is just the name being used and not the system process running the job.
This user does not need any ServiceNow roles assigned to function properly for this process.
